Region 5
Eastern Oregon
Region 5 is charged with the safe and effective construction, operation, and maintenance of US and State Highways from the Washington border to the California border and from approximately milepost 150 just west of Boardman to the Idaho border (see map below).
 
Our Mission:  To keep motorists safe as they make their way along our highways to engage in social, cultural and economic activities that make Eastern Oregon a vibrant and exceptional place to live, work and play.

  • Miles of roadway to administer:  2, 228
  • Number of employee:  307
  • Highest Road in Oregon:  A radio facility on the peak of the Steens Mountain at 9,600 feet.
 
ODOT Region 5 is one of five administrative geographic areas of the Oregon Department of Transportation.
