Save the Date - 2026 PacNW Driver and Traffic Safety Conference

WOU's Traffic Safety Education Program and ODOT-TSO would like you to Save the Date for our 2026 PacNW Driver and Traffic Safety Conference.

Dates: Friday, April 24 through Sunday, April 26

  • Friday, April 24 - DEAC Meeting, open to all, from 1:00pm to 2:30pm; Sessions from 3:00pm - 6:00pm 
  • Saturday, April 25 - Sessions from 8:00am - 5:30pm 
  • Sunday, April 26 - Sessions from 8:00am - 1:00pm

Location: Chemeketa Community College Ag Complex in Salem, OR (same location as last year) 45th Avenue NE & Fire Protection Way, Salem, Oregon 97305

Cost: One day $30, Two Day $55, Three Day $75

Registration:  Opening soon by March 2, 2026

CE Hours: 15 total hours. Note: This will be our only conference this year. There will not be a virtual conference held in 2026.

Western Oregon University - Training Research Institute offers classes to earn continuing education credits necessary for those who teach classroom of behind-the-wheel components of a traffic safety education program.

Chemeketa Community College is offering online courses that count toward continuing education credits to meet instructor requirements. Visit the Chemeketa Community College web page for class schedules and information on upcoming classes. Register online or call Chemeketa directly at 503-584-7541.

ADTSEAAmerican Driver & Traffic Safety Education Association often has online resources that may qualify for continuing education. Check the Events Tab. Note: May require membership to organization to access.
