Medicaid EHR Incentive Program

Oregon’s Medicaid EHR Incentive Program offers eligible providers and hospitals financial incentives to adopt, implement or upgrade to certified Electronic Health Record (EHR) technology and become meaningful users of the EHR technology. EHRs can help improve the quality and coordination of care across settings and provide patients with immediate access to their complete and secure health records.

Program Year 2019 resources are now available.


Program Year 2017

Program Year 2017 attestations are currently being reviewed.  Staff are nearly finished processing and paying program year 2017 attestations and will soon begin processing program year 2018 attestations. Program year 2018 is currently open for attestations and will close April 30, 2019.

$189 million since 2011

Since 2011, we have facilitated $189 million in Federal payments to 3,795 eligible professionals and 60 eligible hospitals in support of adoption and meaningful use of electronic health record technology for Medicaid patients.
