OHCS is preparing its 2027-29 Agency Request Budget (ARB), which will be released on Sept. 1. Developing a successful legislative agenda is an ongoing collaborative process between agency staff and leadership, partners, the Governor’s Office, and others.
The 2027-29 biennium will be a different fiscal environment than recent cycles. However, OHCS is dedicated to continued improvement and invite collective creativity and bold thinking that reflect our values.
OHCS held two town halls, one in person and the other virtually, in June to gather partner input on:
- Ideas for budget-neutral solutions that maintain current service levels,
- Opportunities to streamline and improve outcomes for Oregonians we serve, and
- Creative solutions that don’t require new General Fund resources.
