The comment period is now open for a new partnership designed to increase the efficiency of environmental reviews of historic properties.
The draft agreement is between the Oregon Housing and Community Services Department, the Oregon State Historic Preservation Office, the Advisory Council on Historic Preservation, and tribal nations in Oregon. It will apply to all disaster recovery programs funded with Community Development Block Grant- Disaster Recovery (CDBG-DR) funds from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD).
The public is encouraged to read the draft agreement and submit feedback by May 2, 2024 at 5:00pm.
