Public Hearings & Notices

What are public hearings?

Public hearings provide you a formal setting to give verbal testimony on a policy, rule, or other agency issue. You can advocate or raise awareness about issues in real-time to important decision-makers and elected representatives.

What is a public notice?

A public notice is how OHCS lets community and news media know about upcoming public meetings, as well as proposed actions, policies, or rules prior to their finalization. These notices provide information on how community members can offer feedback and participate in the decision-making process. Below is a list of programs that currently have, or may soon have, public notices available.
