State Scenic Waterway Rules

The Oregon Parks and Recreation Department (OPRD) must be notified of certain activities proposed within a 1/4 mile of the bank of Oregon’s designated state scenic waterway as outlined in Oregon Administrative Rules (OARs).

Although there are specific OARs that relate directly to each scenic waterway, there are other OARs that apply to all state scenic waterways.  See the complete list of all Chapter 736 Division 40 scenic waterway rules or search for them individually in the table provided below.
