Oregon Lifeline - Discounted Service Option

Apply for Discounted Service

You may qualify for a discount on your phone or broadband service with a participating service provider in your area.  You could get a discount on your phone bill of $10.75 per month or a discount on your broadband bill of up to $12.75 per month. Your broadband service must have a minimum download speed of 20 megabits per second and an upload speed of 3 megabits.

What to Expect After Applying

 
Oregon Lifeline will verify your eligibility and confirm you are not already receiving Lifeline service from another service provider. Once verified, you will receive a letter in the mail indicating the status of your application.
 
If your application is approved, expect up to 60 days from the time your application was submitted to notice the discount on your phone or broadband bill.

Eligibility Recertification

 
You may be required to recertify your ongoing eligibility for Oregon Lifeline each year. You may receive a form from Oregon Lifeline to complete and sign.
