Oregon Lifeline - Discounted Service Option

You may qualify for a discount up to $15.25 on your phone service or up to $19.25 on your high-speed internet service with a participating service provider in your area. Your high-speed internet service must have a minimum download speed of 25 megabits per second and an upload speed of 3 megabits to receive the discount up to $19.25. If your high-speed internet service has a lower speed, you may qualify for a discount of up to $10 per month. 

Oregon residents on federally-recognized Tribal lands may qualify for an additional $25 discount per month.

What to Expect After Applying

 
Oregon Lifeline will verify your eligibility and confirm you are not already receiving Lifeline service from another service provider. Once verified, you will receive a letter in the mail indicating the status of your application.
 
If your application is approved, expect up to 60 days from the time your application was submitted to notice the discount on your phone or broadband bill.

Eligibility Recertification

 
You may be required to recertify your ongoing eligibility for Oregon Lifeline each year. You may receive a form from Oregon Lifeline to complete and sign.
