Prevailing Wage Advisory Committee

The Prevailing Wage Advisory committee assists the Labor Commissioner in the administration of the Prevailing Wage Rate Law. Advisory committee members are appointed by the Labor Commissioner. Members include representatives from management and labor in the building and construction industry who perform work on public works contracts.

If you are interested in serving on the Prevailing Wage Advisory Committee in the future, please submit a brief letter summarizing your background and interest in the committee to the Wage and Hour Division, Prevailing Wage Rate Unit at PWR.Email@boli.oregon.gov.

A copy of the Prevailing Wage Advisory Committee Operating Policies can be found here.

Prevailing Wage Advisory Committees are public meetings.  You may submit a request to add an agenda item by completing the Agenda Item Request Form.

Members of the public are also welcomed to attend the advisory committee, but please note public commentary is limited to five minutes per speaker, and the advisory committee members may not address any issues brought up during the meeting. For those who plan to speak at a meeting, we encourage you to send the bureau a summary of what you plan to talk about, and any supporting materials, to this email address: PWR.email@boli.oregon.gov.
