Oregon employers contemplating employing 10 or more minors in the entertainment industry in "short term" employment (meaning 5 working days or less) may submit a completed application for a Short Term Employment Permit.
Although limited to situations involving the employment of 10 or more minors for not more than 5 working days, this permit authorizes an entertainment employer to employ minors of any age.
Employment of minors in violation of Oregon law may result in the imposition of substantial penalties.
