Managing Pavement Conditions

The Oregon Department of Transportation strives to be good stewards of Oregon's transportation assets through efficient use of taxpayer resources. We have over 18,000 lane miles of pavement to manage.

Our goal is to perform the right treatment to the right road at the right time. This way ODOT is better able to preserve the life of Oregon's highway system.

Determining Condition

Tools for Analyzing Pavement Condition

The following maps represent pavement conditions for the state highway system.

To print the best map results or to locate the corresponding Microstation plotter files., see the Maps and GIS Page.

Maps from past years are available upon request.

Pavement conditions are surveyed every other year for all state mainline highways that are under ODOT's jurisdiction.

Pavement condition reports are produced both with and without maps. Please note that these reports are large and may take additional time to download.
