Training Registration: City of Newport

City of Newport Ethics Law Training

On September 23, 2026, OGEC trainers are providing a training on Oregon Government Ethics Law for the City of Newport. Public officials from any public body/agency are welcome to attend. Please register below to make sure we have space for everyone. 

This 2.5 hour training is live and interactive. There will be examples and time for questions and discussion. It covers topics in ORS Chapter 244 OAR Chapter 199, including:

  1. Conflicts of Interest

  2. Prohibited Use of Office

  3. Nepotism

  4. Gifts
