Workday Learning Training

About Workday Learning

The Oregon Government Ethics Commission (OGEC) is pleased to offer FREE online learning via Workday Learning.  Training modules through Workday Learning are short, focused and convenient courses that can be accessed at a time and place of your choosing.  These courses cover subject matters that are within the jurisdiction of the OGEC:

 

1)  Government Ethics Law - ORS Chapter 244 / OAR Chapter 199
2)  Lobby Regulation Law - ORS 171.725 - 171.785, 171.792; and
3)  Executive Session provisions of Public Meetings Law - ORS Chapter 192.660 and 192.685

Whether you are a public official or a private citizen, anyone with an e-mail address can register to take courses through Workday Learning at NO COST.  In addition, once you have established an account in Workday Learning, you can access training from any internet-connected computer.

 

Workday Learning allows you to sign-up for online training courses and keeps a record of the modules you have completed.  Plus, online training allows you to reduce travel time, save on training costs and creates flexibility by delivering the training at a time and place that is convenient for you.

 

Access Workday Learning

To get started, go to the Workday Oregon's Learning Support Page.

 

Once you are on the Workday Learning site, you will need to enter your user name and password.  If you do not have a user name and password, you will need to first create an account in Workday Learning (See below for additional details).

 

Creating an Account & Registration:

State Employees

If you ARE a state employee and are already familiar* with Workday Learning, click this link to access and register for a course:

Starting a Course

To start a course, click on the following link. This will bring you to the Workday Learning login page. Once logged in, you will be prompted to view a one-time 8 minute presentation on how to browse, locate and attend courses within Workday as well as use various Workday tools to customize/manage your learning experience.

Workday Processes

Once you are logged into Workday Learning, you can sign-up and enroll for the courses you wish to take.
