Workday Learning
OGEC offers free on-demand courses via Workday Learning. Training modules through Workday Learning are short, focused, and convenient courses that can be accessed at a time and place of your choosing.
Currently, there is one on-demand course available on Oregon Government Ethics Law:

Whether you are a public official or a private citizen, anyone with an email address can register to take courses through Workday Learning at no cost. Once you have an account in Workday Learning, you can access training from any internet-connected computer.

This training is an overview of Oregon Government Ethics Law (ORS 244) and how it applies to public officials. The training covers who is considered a public official, conflicts of interest, prohibited use of office or position, private employment, nepotism, and gifts. It does not include information for candidates.
Please be aware, non-state Workday accounts are monitored for inactivity and will be automatically inactivated if there is no activity within 13 months. Accounts can be reactivated at any time when additional courses need to be taken. Simply complete the account request process using the same email address on your account and your learning support will be able to reactivate your original account.
Do not create a duplicate account, learning records will not be combined if multiple accounts are created, causing your learning record to be incomplete or trainings to be taken multiple times.
