Workday Learning
OGEC offers free on-demand courses via Workday Learning. Training modules through Workday Learning are short, focused, and convenient courses that can be accessed at a time and place of your choosing.
Currently, there is one on-demand course available on Oregon Government Ethics Law:
OGEC- Overview of Oregon Ethics Law.
Whether you are a public official or a private citizen, anyone with an email address can register to take courses through Workday Learning at no cost. Once you have an account in Workday Learning, you can access training from any internet-connected computer.

Creating a Oregon Workday Learning Account
You will need to have an Oregon Workday account to access OGEC's on-demand training courses. If you are a state employee, please login using your state account.
Non-State Employee Workday Learning Registration
You do not need to be a state employee to access our on-demand trainings. You will need to create an Extended Enterprise Learner (EEL) account.
Non-state employee accounts are monitored for inactivity. They will be automatically inactivated if there is no activity within 13 months. Accounts can be reactivated at any time. Simply complete the account request process using the same email address on your account and learning support will reactivate the original account. Do not create a duplicate account. Learning records cannot be combined if multiple accounts are created, meaning your learning record will either be incomplete or you will need to take the training multiple times.

This training is an overview of Oregon Government Ethics Law (ORS 244) and how it applies to public officials. The training covers who is considered a public official, conflicts of interest, prohibited use of office or position, private employment, nepotism, and gifts. It does not include information for candidates.
If you do not want to create a Workday account and do not need certification that you have completed the course, you can access the Ethics Law course without an account on our
Ethics Law Training page.
