Training Registration: Columbia Soil and Water Conservation District

Columbia Soil and Water Conservation District Ethics Law & Public Meetings Law Training


On September 17, 2025, we will be providing an in-person training on Oregon Government Ethics Law and Public Meetings Law for the Columbia Soil and Water Conservation District. Public officials from any agency are welcome to attend. Please register below to ensure that we have space for everyone.

Both sessions will be live, interactive 2.5 hour trainings. The first session will cover Oregon Government Ethics Law including Conflicts of Interest, Use of Position, Nepotism, and Gifts as contained in ORS Chapter 244 / OAR Chapter 199. The second session will cover Public Meetings Law as contained in ORS Chapter 192 / OAR Chapter 199. Attendees who stay for the entirety of the training will meet the training requirement in ORS 192.700 and will receive certificates of completion after the training is completed. To supplement the trainings, there will be examples and time for questions and discussion around the topics covered.
