Quality and Health Outcomes Committee

The Quality and Health Outcomes Committee's (QHOC) primary goal is coordinating clinical community efforts towards achieving the triple aim of better health, better care and lower costs.

The committee carries this out through:

  • Promoting integration, efficient working relationships, and data-driven decision making; and
  • Maximizing the in-person learning experience while also recognizing the commitment of time and resources.

The Oregon Health Authority regularly convenes clinical leadership from the state's coordinated care organizations (CCOs) to coordinate and lead quality improvement efforts supporting implementation of innovative health care practices. Ongoing development of CCO leadership and community partners is provided through learning collaboratives. These collaboratives provide peer-to-peer learning experiences, subject matter expert education, and quality improvement strategies.
