Purpose
House Bill 2757 (2023) requires a
Behavioral Health Crisis System Advisory Committee. The committee will advise Oregon Health Authority (OHA) on:
Committee Members
The 18-member committee includes representatives from the following groups:
- 988 call centers
- 911 call centers
- Oregon Department of Emergency Management
- The Nine Federally Recognized Tribes of Oregon
- Local Public Health Authorities
- Local Mental Health Authorities/Community Mental Health Programs
- Hospitals and health systems
- Coordinated care organizations
- Telecommunications providers
- Oregon State Sheriffs' Association
- Certified Peer Support Specialists
- Family members and caregivers of individuals with lived experience in mental illness or substance use disorder
- Consumers of behavioral health services
- Consumers of youth and family behavioral Health Services

- Certified Peer Support Specialists
- Consumers of behavioral health services, including youth and families
Membership Application
Applications are due by
5 p.m. Pacific Time on Friday, Dec. 8, 2023.
Applicants are encouraged to review the application scoring rubric, available in

Spanish.
Committee members may be eligible for a $166.00 stipend for each day of work on the committee.
