About us
The Health Systems Division (HSD) Child and Family Behavioral Health Unit:
- Incorporates System of Care values, developmental science and trauma informed approaches, and
- Champions effective and efficient statewide behavioral health services, support and safety for Oregon’s children, young adults and their families.
Elevating behavioral health for children and families has a positive impact on all of Oregon’s child-serving systems, including schools, child welfare and juvenile justice.
- When children get the access to the right behavioral health services when they need them and for as long as they need them, children get better.
- When they get better, they are able to stay at home, be in school and be successful in their communities.
