Clandestine Drug Lab Program Training

Initial Contractor Training

The Oregon Health Authority has scheduled an Initial Clandestine Drug Lab (CDL) Certification Training for July 10th and 11th (Thursday and Friday). Both days, 9:00am – 4:00pm in the 1st floor Conference room 1D located at: Portland State Office Building 800 NE Oregon St., Portland, OR 97232


This training is required to obtain certification to access illegal drug manufacturing sites. It is intended for new workers/supervisors or for individuals whose certification may have expired. It is not intended for currently certified individuals (THIS IS NOT A REFRESHER TRAINING).


To register, please provide the following:

  • Application Form (here)
  • A copy of each attendee's current 40 hour Hazwoper certification
  • Registration fee of $150 per attendee
  • Exam fee of $100 per attendee
  • A check or money order for the total amount: Due before class begins on 7/10/25


Reminders:

  • Prior to CDL licensing, a company must be registered, bonded and insured as a general contractor with the Construction Contractors Board (CCB). Contact the CCB for this registration.
  • In addition to individual certification, companies must also be CDL licensed: $1000 for two years (firm application here).
  • A photo for an individual ID badge will be taken during class.
  • Supervisors require an 8-hr Supervisory training certificate. It can be an 8hr. supervisor specific hazmat training or Company specific training (that complies with OSHA 1910.120(e)(4)).
