Legislative Resources

WIC assures healthy pregnancies, healthy birth outcomes and healthy growth and development for adults, infants and children up to age five who are at nutrition risk. WIC providies nutritious foods to supplement diets, information and education on healthy eating, and referrals to health care and critical social services. WIC provides breastfeeding support and education to participants, and plays a critical role in public health modernization.
