Environmental reviews in impacted counties

As part of Oregon’s long-term wildfire recovery efforts, broad-level (Tier 1) environmental reviews were completed to assess the potential impacts of rebuilding programs in the counties most affected by the 2020 wildfires. These reviews help ensure that housing recovery projects are carried out in a way that supports safe, resilient communities while considering environmental factors.

The documents listed below provide county-specific Tier 1 environmental reviews for Clackamas, Douglas, Jackson, Klamath, Lane, and Linn Counties, along with related public notices. To request copies, please email OHCS.ReOregon@HCS.oregon.gov or call 800-453-5511.

Making these documents available allows community members and partners to better understand how recovery programs are being implemented across the state’s most impacted and distressed areas.

Site-specific (Tier 2) reviews are currently underway for sites in each of these counties. The Tier 2 reviews are a continuation of the Tier 1 reviews and together make the full environmental review for each site.

Use of Recovery Grant Funds
