Training Registration: Eastern Oregon University

Eastern Oregon University September Training

On September 4, 2024, we will be providing an in-person training on Oregon Government Ethics Law at the Hoke Union Building in Eastern Oregon University for La Grande, Oregon. 
This training is for all public officials whether you are an employee, volunteer, elected official, or appointed official. Public officials from any agency, county, department, board, etc. are welcome to attend.
We will be holding several sessions throughout the day. Please register below to ensure that we have space for everyone and indicate which session you are planning on attending.

This interactive 2.5 hour training will cover the following topics contained in ORS Chapter 244 OAR Chapter 199. There will be lots of real examples and time for questions and discussion around the topics covered, including
  • Conflicts of Interest
  • Use of Office
  • Nepotism
  • Gifts
