Project Summary
This project funds a regional study and implementation plan for Jackson County fire districts to strengthen fire and emergency services and address critical issues during a large-scale emergency. This project will oversee delivery of a triage system at dispatch, enhancing resource tracking, and making sure firefighters have proper protective equipment. The project will improve emergency response times, resource availability, and overall public safety. Wildland Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for Fire District 5 that were destroyed in the 2020 Almeda Fire will also be replaced.
