Description of all License Types, Fees, and Requirements: License Types (PDF)
Obtaining a liquor license is necessary for all establishments selling any alcoholic beverages. Liquor licensing in Oregon is a joint effort of the applicant, local authority (city or county), and the OLCC. The application process for a liquor license is thorough and comprehensive, and will require several kinds of documentation to ensure you meet state requirements.
Retail licensees who join the Responsible Vendor Program and maintain all of its requirements are eligible for reduced sanctions if their employees sell alcohol to a minor or fail to properly check ID.
