The Oregon Medical Board is responsible for licensing and regulating medical, osteopathic, and podiatric physicians, physician assistants, and acupuncturists.  Collectively, they are referred to as "licensees."  The Board licenses, monitors, disciplines, and educates its licensees to assure that they are qualified and competent to care for the people of Oregon.

Associate Medical Director (Temporary)

The Oregon Medical Board is seeking an experienced physician to serve as the agency’s Associate Medical Director and provide technical medical expertise for the Oregon Medical Board’s programs in support of the Medical Director. The physician in this position assists in evaluating the credentials of applicants for medical licensure and reviewing complaints of malpractice, incompetence, or unprofessional conduct investigated by the Board.  This is a temporary, part time Executive Service position located in a professional building in downtown Portland overlooking the beautiful Willamette River. There is potential for remote work.
