OHA offers stipends and travel reimbursement to Consumer and Family representatives who do not otherwise receive compensation for their time at full council or subcommittee meetings.
Stipends for attendance at meetings are $50 per meeting.
Stipends are considered taxable income. If any member receives $600 or more in stipends per year, OHA will send the member a 1099 form and report the income to the IRS as required.
Reimbursable expenses include:
Travel reimbursements are not considered taxable income.
Complete the appropriate form(s) below.
Submit the form(s) to your council or subcommittee liaison during or promptly after each meeting.
