Please note: The Health Licensing Office will be closed to the public on Monday, July 28, 2025, to address administrative tasks. There will be no over-the-counter walk-in service or testing available this day.
The Health Licensing Office (HLO) is seeking licensed denture technologists to serve as subject matter experts (SMEs) for complaint investigations. A SME is an independent contractor who assists in investigations of and cases against Oregon licensed denturists. SMEs may be called upon to assist the HLO in various ways, such as: examining complainants to determine if the prosthetic dental appliances were made appropriately and within community standards, working with a HLO investigator when investigating licensees, providing opinions about community standards, and competently testifying during hearings.
