About this Dashboard
The
Affordable Rental Housing Funding dashboard provides data and visualizations on Oregon Housing and Community Services rental homes that have been approved for funding by the Oregon Housing Stability Council (HSC) and OHCS Finance Committee (Finance).
Below you will find guidance on how to use and navigate the dashboard. The 2026 update is published on ArcGIS Experience Builder, replacing the previous Tableau-based dashboard. The original 2025 Tableau dashboard remains available as an archived reference.

What’s in the Dashboard
The dashboard is organized into three sections, available in the navigation menu at the top of the page. These sections include:
- Overview: This section provides data on the overall outputs of OHCS Affordable Rental Housing (ARH) programs from January 1, 2020, through June 30, 2026.
- OHCS Funded Projects: This section visualizes housing projects that received funding from OHCS funding across Oregon.
- Permanent Supportive Housing: This section provides a statewide view of Permanent Supportive Housing (PSH) activity.
How to Navigate the Dashboard
Using filter
Filters are located at the top of the page. Use them to refine the results. To return to the default view (all data, no filters), click Reset All Filters at the top.
The filters included in this dashboard are:
- HSC & Finance Approval Date: Choose a date range to see projects approved in that window.
- Funding Type: Click the filter icon and select one or more funding sources (e.g., LIFT, LIHTC 9%/4%, PSH, GHAP).
- Project Status: Use to filter by Pre-Construction, Construction, or Complete/Operating.
- Building Type: Use to filter by New Construction/Non-Preservation and Acquisition/Rehab/Preservation.
- Geographic Type, County, City: Refine to urban/rural and/or specific locations.
Reading the KPI cards
The “OHCS Funded Projects” section and the “Permanent Supportive Housing” section both have Key Performance Indicators (KPI) cards that will update as you change filters.
Navigating between sections
Use the menu tabs at the top of the page to move between sections.
Interacting with the table
The table on “OHCS Funded Projects” section and the “Permanent Supportive Housing” section are interactive. Select a row to pan and zoom the map to that project’s location.
The tables provide an accessible, filter aware view of all projects currently shown on the map. Any filters you apply (dates, funding type, geography, etc.) are reflected in the table results.
To export the table, open the Actions menu (three dots) in the table header and choose Export (e.g., CSV/Excel), then follow the prompts.
Interacting with charts
Hover over any bar, point, or data element in the charts to reveal additional detail.
Chart types:
- Bar chart represents either a share or dollar amount. Hovering will display the share and category name.
- Stacked bar charts represent the share based on the total. Hovering will display the share, count, and category name.
- Pie charts represent the share based on the total. Hovering will display the share, count, and category name.
