Oregon Health Plan (OHP) Bridge Advisory Committee

OHA Announces Newest Committee Members

Oregon Health Authority (OHA) completed recruitment over the summer for three open seats on its OHP Bridge Advisory Committee. The agency received 28 applications, a strong indication of the broad community investment in the work of the committee. OHA is thrilled to announce the state's newest OBAC members, who will bring a wide range of perspectives and lived experiences to the work:

  • Caterina DeMoret, BSN, RN | Health Care Provider Seat
  • Eduardo Figueroa Varela | Raices de Bienestar | Health Equity Seat
  • Mariah Hall | Crossroads Communities | OHP Bridge Member Seat

The OBAC is excited to welcome Caterina, Eduardo and Mariah to the committee. They will serve two-year terms, with the option to reapply for a second term if interested in doing so. Their first meeting will be on October 16 from 1 to 4 p.m. Pacific Time.

Given the phenomenal applicant pool, there were many incredibly qualified applicants that OHA was unfortunately not able to select. OHA looks forward to engaging all interested members of the public in a variety of ways over the coming months and years of OHP Bridge implementation and will work with the OBAC to accomplish this goal. Join the OHP Bridge Mailing List to stay up to date on opportunities for public engagement.
