The Office for Oregon Health Policy and Research (OHPR) conducts impartial policy analysis, research, and evaluation, and provides technical assistance to support health reform planning and implementation in Oregon. The office serves in an advisory capacity to Oregon Health Policy Board, the Oregon Health Authority, the Governor, and the Legislature.

Currently, OHPR is supporting health system transformation by encouraging spread of the Coordinated Care Model in Oregon, strengthening primary care systems, and developing evidence-based guidelines for clinical care and insurance benefit design. OHPR is also looking ahead to future reforms by conducting research and engaging stakeholders to develop policy recommendations on topics such as health care workforce and coverage options for low-income Oregonians.
