Working with the community
With partners such as the Oregon Health Authority, the Oregon Department of Agriculture, OSU Extension, counties, SWCDs, and watershed councils, DEQ conducts public education and outreach programs in areas of known or suspected contamination. In addition, DEQ encourages and provides technical assistance for projects funded through various grant and loan programs to protect groundwater quality.
Visit Oregon State University's Well Water website for educational materials about protecting groundwater.
