Apply for the Oregon Health Plan (OHP)

You Can Apply for OHP at Any Time of the Year.

Enrollment is always open for OHP. Medicare and private health insurance plans have open enrollment in the fall.

You can use the Oregon Eligibility (ONE) system to apply online for OHP. You can also use ONE to renew your OHP and report changes.

The best way is to apply online. To do this, go to ONE.Oregon.gov to login or create an Oregon Eligibility (ONE) account.​

If you applied with ODHS, your worker will let you know. It may be up to 45 calendar days after they get your completed application. If ODHS has to make an eligibility decision based on a disability, it may take longer.

If you do not receive anything after 45 days, you can ask about the status of your application. To do this, contact the office where you applied. 

If you applied online or by mail, you can call OHP Customer Service at 1-800-699-9075.​

The Oregon Health Plan (OHP) is Oregon's Medicaid program. There are several health care programs available for low-income Oregonians through OHP.

  • OHP Plus for children ages 0-18 and adults ages 19-64
  • OHP Plus Supplemental for pregnant adults age 21 or older
  • OHP with Limited Drug for adults who qualify for both Medicaid and Medicare Part D

Other medical programs available include Citizenship-Waived Medical (CWM) and Qualified Medicare Beneficiary.​

To qualify for OHP individuals and families must meet income and residency requirements. People may also qualify based on age and disability status.

Medicare is for people who are age 65 and older, are blind, or have a disability.
