CCO Procurement: The Future of Care for OHP Members

Overview

To deliver health coverage to most Oregon Health Plan (OHP) members, Oregon Health Authority (OHA) contracts with 16 regional groups across the state called coordinated care organizations (CCOs).

CCOs are based in the same local area as the OHP members they serve and assist OHP members in getting care from providers like doctors, nurses, counselors, dentists and pharmacists. The goal of the CCO model is for everyone to work together to care for an OHP member.

OHA is currently planning for the next round of contracts with CCOs. As part of this process, OHA will create a new CCO contract, which outlines the requirements and expectations for delivering a certain standard of care. The new contracts will be focused on improving care for OHP members.

This web page will be updated with upcoming events and timeframes.
