The health and safety of patients is our top priority. Due to increased COVID-19 cases in Marion and Lane counties, Oregon State Hospital (OSH) has suspended in-person visitation on the Junction City campus (effective as of May 23) and effective Monday, May 30, in-person visitation on the Salem campus will be paused.
OSH understands the critical role friends and family play in a patient's recovery. This decision was not made lightly, and we understand the impact that this necessary action will have on the people in our care and on their families and friends.
In the meantime, virtual visitations and phone times will continue uninterrupted.
We hope to resume normal visitation as soon as possible and will provide updates in a timely manner.
If you have questions, please contact the hospital's Ombuds and Family Services Office at 541-465-2785. You can also email OSH.OmbudsandFamilyServices@dhsoha.state.or.us
