Reports from the TARA

In 2025, the Oregon Health Authority (OHA) conducted the Tobacco and Alcohol Retail Assessment. The assessments examined tobacco and alcohol advertising, marketing and promotion in a sample of tobacco retailers across the state.

The retail assessment findings provide a snapshot of the tobacco and alcohol industry’s presence across Oregon. The findings help describe the ways the tobacco and alcohol industry exposes Oregonians to its products in the places they shop every day.
