The Office of Information Services (OIS) is one of the biggest IT organizations in the state. Insurance

Insurance Benefits 

Paid Leave

  • Sick leave earned at the rate of 8 hours per month (with no maximum accumulation) and eligible to use as accrued.

  • Vacation leave earned at a minimum rate of 8 hours per month, eligible to use after 6 months of service (accrual rate increases at 5-year increments).

  • 24-hours of personal leave, earned each fiscal year, and eligible to use after 6 months of service.

  • 11 paid holidays a year.









Paid Leave Benefits 

 Financial

  • Membership in the Public Employees Retirement System (PERS)/Oregon Public Service Retirement Plan (OPSRP). After 6 months of service, you receive a 6 percent increase to your current salary, which is directly added to your PERS account.

  • Optional: Enrollment in the Oregon Savings Growth Plan, a deferred compensation program, that offers a wide variety of investment options.

  • The Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) Program offers loan forgiveness to anyone who works full-time in a public service job. Depending on your eligibility, income, and financial obligations, you’ll be eligible to get your Federal Student Loans forgiven (after 120 payments). Based on eligibility.
