Hospital Reporting Information

​​Oregon Health and Science University (OHSU) is an academic health center with a public Board of Directors and a state mandated mission to improve the health and well-being of Oregonians through health care, health provider education, and biomedical research. OHSU Hospital and OHSU Doernbecher Children’s Hospital serve Oregonians from across the state with life-threatening illnesses and injuries. OHSU partners with communities to provide care in community clinics and hospitals throughout Oregon. 

OHSU medical professionals, teachers, and researchers provide health care to vulnerable patients, train the next generation of health care providers for Oregon, use public education to improve public health, perform health research to address critical health challenges, ensure access to the latest medical advances, and connect with other health providers across the state so patients can receive care close to home.

OHSU Hospital is a member of the Healthy Columbia Willamette Collaborative, a collaboration between 15 hospitals, four public health agencies, and two coordinated care organizations in the Portland metropolitan area. Through that partnership, OHSU Hospital participates in the Healthy Columbia Willamette Collaborative regional Community Health Needs Assessment.
