Investigative Guidelines for HIV

Newly diagnosed cases of HIV are reportable in Oregon by county via laboratory data. Forms and information on reporting criteria are available below:

These guidelines represent the first major revision since 2012. Draft guidelines were revised in 2023 based on review and suggestions by interested parties representing local health authorities. A copy of this document is available from the HIV Surveillance Program upon request (971-673-0153).
