Maternal and Child Health (MCH) Public Health Nurse Orientation

Targeted Case Management

Length: Half-day

Training Goals

  • Understand rules and regulations around TCM billing
  • Understand how to complete documentation on mothers and infants
  • Understand how to update TCM assessments and Plans to align with TCM activities

Target Audience: Professionals working with home visiting programs that provide TCM.

Training Goals

  • Understand how to select the correct questionnaire
  • Understand how to best complete, score, and interpret the questionnaire
  • Understand the importance of follow up and communicating results

Target Audience: Home visitors working in Babies First! or NFP programs.

Clues to Cues: A Foundation for Infant Mental Health

Length: One full day

Training Goals

  • Identify key concepts of infant behavior.
  • Apply the concepts of infant state, state modulation, cues, and temperament to the feeding and teaching interaction.

Target Audience: Professionals and paraprofessionals educating and working with families.
