HMIS Meeting Materials May 11, 2026

This is a monthly meeting convened by the Oregon Multi-CoC (OMC) HMIS Governance Committee for the purpose of assisting the administrator (OHCS) in communicating information and developing site protocols for planning and design that impact the OMC HMIS site. Participating Continuums of Care (CoC) include OR-502, OR-503, OR-504, and OR-505.

Meeting Minutes

1. Approval of Previous Minutes

  • Minutes from April 13, 2026 meeting were approved.

2. Topic: HMIS Satisfaction Survey

  • Angela Mullins, OHCS, shared that another HMIS satisfaction survey will go out at the end of May.
  • This survey is meant to measure how people feel about the current system before the new one is implemented next year.

3. Topic: What are members focusing on now that federal reporting is done?

  • Several members said they are now focusing on data quality and local reporting.
  • One member shared they are cleaning up their Coordinated Entry By-Name List (BNL) and getting help from technical assistance.

4. Topic: NHSDC Insights?

  • Highlights included sessions about impact reports and youth coordinated entry.
  • There was interest in possibly having a future presentation about youth coordinated entry during an OMC Quad Squad meeting.

5. Topic: OMC Quad Squad Summer Schedule

  • Members discussed whether to meet during the summer.
  • Several people said they would rather skip meetings when there are no major topics.
  • Many preferred taking June & July off.
  • Angela Mullins said that important HMIS Solutions Project updates won’t be missed because the main work this summer is preparing for the RFP to be released.

6. Topic: Upcoming OMC Quad Squad Discussion Topics

  • Members were encouraged to send ideas on future topics.
  • Topics mentioned:
    • Coordinated entry for youth
    • Coordinated entry for adults and how to increase participation from community partners
    • HMIS reporting demonstrations

7. Topic: Announcements/Updates

OHCS P&E HMIS Team Office Hours

  • Starting June 11
    • The focus is data quality issues.
  • 2nd Thursday of each month from 1 - 2 p.m.
    • Members spoke about problems with the Eva data quality tool, especially around new conditional logic and Personal ID numbers.
