Current Rulemaking

The 2018 Legislative Session brought us House Bill 4129, which changed the name of the Nursing Home Administrators Board to the Long Term Care Administrators Board and added Residential Care Facility Administrators as a newly licensed profession. Newly adopted permanent rules went into effect on May 15, 2019, to incorporate the new profession. In the coming months the board will open rules again to review language that oversee the Nursing Home Administrators, the Administrator-In-Training (AIT) Program, and Continuing Education Requirements, to name a few.
