Pediatric Readiness Program: Education

Education

While we achieved some great successes through the Pediatric Readiness Quality Collaborative project, its scope was necessarily limited. In working with our partner hospitals over the course of the project we realized there were rich opportunities for information sharing, educational dialogue and didactic learning that could add tremendous value at the bedside and enhance systematic pediatric readiness. With this in mind, we intend to create multiple educational offerings:

  • Quarterly webinars by content experts addressing pertinent pediatric emergency topics
  • Interactive, web-based educational content on core pediatric emergency medicine topics
  • On-site simulation-based pediatric education and tabletop exercises
  • Annual in-person statewide conference, ideally in collaboration with or participating in existing ENA, AAP, and/or ACEP conferences to conserve resources

Education Sessions

Education session topics and registration information are posted on the main page of the PRP website. CME available up to 30 days after session. Questions? Contact Rachel Ford at 971-673-0564.
