Process for requesting an alternative deadline for school and childcare immunization review and exclusion 333-050-0060, 333-050-0070, 333-050-0080, 333-050-0110, 333-050-0200Due to the recent case surge caused by the Omicron variant of the COVID-19 virus, local public health authorities (LPHAs) have indicated they may be unable to meet the current deadlines in rule related to reviewing school and children’s facilities immunization records for compliance with immunization requirements and issuing exclusion letters for noncompliance. These temporary rules would allow LPHAs with good cause for needing additional time, flexibility for review of records and issuance of exclusion letters.
The Oregon Health Authority (Authority), Public Health Division temporarily adopted OAR 333-047-2000, relating to requirements for COVID-19 vaccine administration sites. This temporary rule is effective July 9, 2021 through November 22, 2021 and replaces OAR 333-047-2000 filed and effective May 27, 2021 (Temporary Administrative Order PH 21-2021)
