Oregon Immunization Partnerships and Coalitions

Outreach and Policy

A variety of organizations work with the Oregon Immunization Program to protect the people of Oregon from vaccine-preventable disease, from assisting with outreach or hosting clinics to providing expert insight on policy.

Immunize Oregon

Immunize Oregon is Oregon's lifespan immunization coalition building immunization communities.

The Immunization School/Children’s Facility/College Law Advisory committee (ISLAC) advises the Oregon Immunization Program on the laws requiring immunizations to protect children and students attending our schools, children's facilities and colleges/universities against vaccine-preventable diseases.

The committee makes recommendations regarding proposed changes, implementation, and maintenance of immunization statutes and rules.

Keeping people and communities healthy means more than access to medical care. It means ensuring people have the basics, like food, housing and economic opportunity.

At the nonprofit 211Info, they believe in the idea of Health for Your Whole Life. It’s a commitment to work toward an Oregon and Southwest Washington where everyone’s health and social services needs are met.

Immunization Policy Advisory Team (IPAT)

The Oregon Immunization Policy Advisory Team, established in 1999, advises the Oregon Public Health Immunization Program on the development, prioritization and implementation of immunization policy issues.

Composed of 18 voting members who are experts in immunization and/or policy fields and non-voting members from the Oregon Health Authority, IPAT strives to facilitate a sound, collaborative decision-making process around immunization issues facing Oregonians.

Oregon Health Plan

The Oregon Health Plan is a public and private partnership that ensures universal access to a basic level of health care for Oregonians.

The division also includes provisions for oversight, research and analysis to achieve the best use of health-care funding.
