Overview
Between August, 2025 and October, 2025 a cross-agency group conducted a preliminary maturity assessment for digital accessibility at Oregon Health Authority. This maturity assessment followed the W3C's Accessibility Maturity Model (AMM). High-level results are found in the graphs and table below.
AMM is a maturity model with 7 dimensions, 4 stages, and 147 proof points.
Assessment Summary
The first graph below, Total Proof Points by Stage, shows organizational maturity across all dimensions. Overall, the highest number of proof points are in the Launch stage - showing the ammount of prepartory work currently underway to advance digital accessibility across the agency.
The second graph below, Proof Points by Dimension, gives a more detailed overview of organizational maturity in each of the 7 dimensions. This graph shows strong forward momentum in the Knowledge and Skills, Support, and Procurement dimensions. The bulk of inactive proof points are in the Communication, ICT Development Life Cycle, and Personnel dimensions.
The table at the bottom of the page reports the same data as the second graph in a different format.
