Oregon Psilocybin Services - 2026 Rulemaking

Based on feedback OHA received through the Oregon Psilocybin Advisory Board (OPAB), rule advisory committees (RACs) and rulemaking public comment period, the agency will not file final rules as a result of this rulemaking process and will not adopt the proposed fee increases. 

OHA will begin a new rulemaking process to consider proposed rules that are unrelated to proposed fee changes, with a planned effective date of Jan. 15, 2027. Information about the new rulemaking (part two) will be posted on the psilocybin program's Administrative Rules and Rulemaking Process webpage as information is available. Notification will also be sent when the next public comment period opens, which is anticipated in December. 

2026 Annual Public Hearings - Part One

All members of the public were invited to attend Public Hearings and provide comments. The public hearings were on Tuesday, September 15, 6:00 – 7:30 PM (Pacific Time) and Wednesday, September 16, Noon – 1:30 PM (Pacific Time).
