Enter the OPTIS Web Portal to access both the Production and Training sites. Select the green "OPTIS (Production)" icon to use the live site; select the red "OPTIS (Training)" icon to practice in the training site.

Enter the OPTIS Web Portal

The Oregon Public Transit Information System, or OPTIS, is the web-based software that the Public Transit Section uses to manage grants. It automates and standardizes many transactions and serves as our system of record.

In OPTIS you can:

  • Submit reimbursement requests
  • Enter reporting data
  • Track your grant activities
  • Check agreement status
  • Access payment histories, grant balances, and assets
  • Run reports

Individualized Training

We are available for one-on-one or small group OPTIS training sessions. Sessions usually take one to two hours and cover basic OPTIS functionality, reimbursement requests, and periodic reporting. Do you need to grant a new staff member permissions to submit reimbursement requests online or reports in OPTIS? Your agency's approving authority can provide us with written permission for this action using the following template:

Asset Condition Assessments

Federal Transit Administration Transit Asset Management rule requires that transit providers determine and track the condition of their assets. Use these interactive spreadsheets that ODOT has created to asses the condition of your assets, then report that condition in OPTIS. Report asset conditions in OPTIS quarterly for vehicles and annually for facilities and equipment.
