Special meeting of the Oregon Environmental Quality Commission

This special meeting will be held jointly with the Oregon Board of Forestry. Please note, the Board of Forestry uses a YouTube livestream system for meetings, and people may attend through the Oregon Department of Forestry YouTube page: https://www.youtube.com/c/OregonDepartmentofForestry
Comments from the public will not be taken during the informational presentations at the March 3 special joint meeting; however, people may submit written comment on these items until Wednesday, March 17, by emailing the commission assistant, Stephanie Caldera.

10 a.m.
Item 1: Opening and welcome
The Environmental Quality Commission and Board of Forestry chairs will open the joint special meeting. The chairs and agency directors will provide contextual information for the joint special meeting and review the day's agenda.
10:20 a.m.
Item 2: Smoke Management Program updates
Staff from DEQ, the Department of Forestry and the Oregon Health Authority will co-present updates on implementation of the Oregon Smoke Management Program.
10:55 a.m.
Item 3: Water Quality collaboration updates
Staff from DEQ and the Department of Forestry will co-present an update to the commission and board regarding agency collaborative processes for water quality protections on forestland.
The special joint meeting is scheduled to adjourn at 12:15 p.m.
