Important deadlines:

  • Reports due for natural gas suppliers - March 31
  • Reports due for fuel suppliers and producers - April 30
  • Reports due for electricity suppliers - June 1

How can my organization become an approved verification body?

To become a verifier for the GHG Reporting program, your organization must be accredited by either the California Air Resources Board or the ANSI National Accreditation Board’s GHG Validation and Verification Body accreditation program and submit all materials required in the verification body application. DEQ opens a new application for GHG Reporting program verification bodies annually. The GHG Reporting program is not accepting verification body applications at this time
