Agenda: Value-based Benefits Subcommittee (VbBS) reports from January and March 2019 (includes 2020 biennial review of reprioritization of certain chronic pain conditions); coverage guidance and associated changes to the Prioritized List: newer interventions for osteoarthritis of the knee; update on ambulatory surgery centers with extended stay centers: appropriate procedures and patient characteristics; travel reimbursement policy changes for commission members.
Topics that remain unresolved at the end of the morning's VbBS meeting will not be heard by HERC until a later date. Public notice of tabled topics will be announced 28 days before their next scheduled discussion.
